 This magazine cover displays the famous band 'The Beatles,' that were most popular during the 1960's but are still well known today. This means that fans of the Beatles are attracted to the magazine. The reader is also aware that this music magazine covers a wide range of music genres because it states, 'R & B's COOL RULERS,' and 'SONGHOY BLUES,' (a new band featuring contemporary rock, hip hop and blues), with in the cover lines on the right side of the magazine,therefore the reader can understand that the magazine doesn't completely focus around one genre; so this magazine will appeal to a large percentage of the public.
 The head master, in the colour white, stands out against the black background. However, the picture of The Beatles covers up the title, implying that the magazine is well known and it doesn't need to show the whole title for the public to know what the magazine is called. On the other hand, this is a disadvantage because, as I do not regularly read this magazine, and I thought it was called 'MOIO,'  but it is actually labelled, 'MOJO.' This means that it is not clear what the magazine is called and it won't get as much popularity, so to improve it, the title should be more visible. In addition, the magazine uses subtitles and badges to grab attention. They use the colour red and yellow, these colours contrast against each other so they stand out against each other. Also, they get more attention because it goes against the black background.




This magazine displays the artist Rod Stuart when he was younger, the image makes direct eye contact to attract the readers to the cover. To improve this image I would choose a more uplifting picture of Rod Stuart, perhaps when he is smiling or performing, this would be a benefit because it would make the reader feel positive and they would more likely to read the magazine; resulting in more readers and business.  In addition, the cover presents badges  to show the reader what is in the magazine. The badges colours are similar to the CD's. This means that they compliment each other and stand out more, this will attract the reader.
The head master, is at the top of the page and is a bright red colour, as it is the only item on the cover that is red, it will get noticed more than any other item on the page. and will be the factor that gets the most attention.
There are subtitles and cover lines displayed on the right side of the magazine, around the image and above the head master.They are all white and reflect of each other. Also, they allude the readers about the content of the magazine, so they know what they are buying.

This Rock magazine consists of mainly 3 colours; black, white and pink.So the colours reflect of each other to stand out and grab attention.  The image displays three celebrities dressed in typical Rock outfits. This means that the it instantly grabs Rock fans eye. With in the middle of the image and the magazine it exhibits the bands name, ' Hollywood Vampires,' and it also shows, by each model, a quote of what they said about the band, this makes the reader aware of what the magazine consists of.  Also this caption is in pink, this compliments and reflects off the other use of pink included in the cover, bringing more attention towards it.Buying this magazine, the reader gets a free CD, this convinces the reader to buy this magazine because they get a free gift, however, the magazine should advertise this more, so the magazine will be more popular by doing this.
