In order to get the best name for my Rock and Roll magazine, I had too research words and titles that relate to the genre of Rock and Roll. I found that the most common names for Rock and Roll magazines were mainly, "Rock and Roll" and "Rock N Roll." As I want my magazine to be original I've decided that I would make a chart to find out what name the public prefer on a Rock and Roll magazine. Therefore, to get a fair range of results, I questioned 20 rock and roll fans which of the names they like and would make them buy the magazine. Then I questioned 30 other Rock and Roll fans about what font fits the genre the best. I asked an extra 10 people because I believe that the main font gives the first impression of the magazine, so I wanted more advice and a wider audience to give me their point of view.
Through my survey, I found out that the title 'BackBeat' was the best name for my magazine. However, there are many different fonts I could use for my title. I found different fonts online that would look eye catching, original and professional on my magazine cover. To find out which one would be best I conducted another survey, asking 30 members of the public, to see which font they preferred. As a result, I worked out that the font 'Mrs Sheppards' was the most popular.
