Mind Map Exploring Rock magazines and Genres / decisions for my magazine.

Through research I have explored, Ive decided that I want to target my product to a younger generation. So my target market is age 21-30 year olds and it would appeal to both men and women.
Through exploring different Rock genres, I decided I want to advertise a Rock and Roll magazine as this styles really appeals to me. I understand that Rock and Roll also includes hints of the genre Jazz and Blues music, So I would incorporate these themes into my magazine as well. I would do this by including a calming colour, such as blue, to show the different aspects that the magazine will include. Personally, I relate to the Rock and  Roll style of the 1950-60's So I would like to give this impression on my cover through the photographs I will use, such as the use of costumes and props.
