contents page skeleton diagram

The first skeleton diagram is over a double page because I preferred the double page spreads in my analysis of magazine content pages. This is because more information and photographs can be included within the page.I have also used a badge to give additional information, the result of a badge is that it will grab the attention of he reader, this can be seen in 'Classis Rock's' contents page. However, I felt as though circular badges look more professional as they look neater in comparison to more unusual shaped badges.
I put the context on either side of each page so it acts as a border, this means that the writing also helps direct the reader to look at the pictures and badges, this means that the techniques used on the page will increasingly grab the readers attention and tell them what is in the magazine. Moreover, as the writing is on either side of the page meaning that it is clear to read as it is away from any other techniques included. Through all of the skeleton diagrams, I have put a title of the top of each page that will able 'content,' so it is clear to all readers that this page will give them the content information.

The second skeleton is a single content page like the contents page from the magazine 'UNCUT.' I've designed this as his means not very much will be on the page making it very simple. This means it will be effective because there will be one large picture to grab maximum attention, instead of many techniques that would make the page busy. Also, I've put the content of the edge of the page because if the magazine was folded, it would still be clear to see the content and it is obvious to see that this writing is the content.

The last skeleton diagram is also a double page spread, however, only two large images are used, like in 'Classic Rock's' magazine. As a result, other techniques such as badges wont be necessary to grab the readers attention. Unlike the fist diagram, the content is on the right hand side on the page. This means that the pages have matching structure and it will look professional. Also, if the magazine was folded it would still be clear to read the contents. However, the left hand side of the page would be less easy to read, so it would be more clear to put the content of he let side of the left page.
