2: The photograph displays the school with in the background of the photograph, this shows of the school and gives the reader an idea of what the school looks like. Unfortunately, the student exhibited is presented in casual clothing. By showing him in a grey hoodie, makes the school look less professional. So, if the srudent wore business dress or school uniform, the school would look more accomplished.
3: The red incentives that present captions, stand out because of the colour red against the background. This means that reader will read this as it is bold in comparison to other text as it ascts as a border.
4:The prom photo makes the reader aware of the news with in the school. although they have not read the magazine. This is an advantage because it persuades people to read the magazine as they are intregued by the photo displayed. To improve this, the photograph should be bigger and have a border to project it more to the reader.
2: Secondly, the photograph of the young boy advertises the magazine, as it makes direct contact to the reader as the child's face is visible. Also, the young boy is displayed in a red top; the colour red is the opposite colour to the use of blue in the background. Therefore it stands out and grabs the readers attention. However, to improve it though child could look up to the camera shot to make eye-contact that will draw in the reader.
3: There is a lack of subtitles and cover line's, this means the reader is not made aware of what the magazine consists of, this will not persuade them to read the magazine. Therefore, to improve, the cover need more subtitles to allude the reader why they should read the magazine.

1: The headmaster stands out from the white background and is at the top of the page, this is an advantage as it immediately tells the reader what the magazine is about. To improve the main title, a colourful border could have been used to make it more eye-catching.
2: The main image is of to young students in school uniform working on high technical equipment, this means that the reader knows that the 'Prep School' can afford good quality equipment. In relation to their smart dress, they make the school look professional, The positioning of the first student, looking in to the camera, creates eye contact; this looks the reader in as the boy is the main focus. Also, the glasses they are both wearing, most probably to do with the computers, are a humorous technique that invites the reader in as they want to know why the students are wearing matching glasses. Additionally, the background displays the learning strategies the school has and the work they invent. This introduces the school with a welcoming atmosphere and a good attitude towards learning. Moreover, to improve this, the cover needs to be colourful so it is more bold to catch the readers attention, they could do this by using badges and boarders. This will conclude that more people will be interested in the magazine.
3: There is a subtitle at the bottom left of the cover, it alludes the reader about the school and what it is known for. However, it is written in white to match the text. This makes it difficult to read against the background. So, it would need a thicker boarder or use another font/colour to make it more visible.
4: There is a lack of cover line's, as a result, the reader knows less about the magazine and will less likely want to read it. This means that cover line's should be used down the left side of the cover; to allude the reader about the content of the magazine and not take attention away from the main image.
